The iPSC Core Facility was established in 2021 by Dr. Melanie Generali, who continues to lead the facility as Head. Since its foundation, the facility has grown into a five-member team providing expertise and support in iPSC-based technologies.
Embedded within the Institute for Regenerative Medicine (IREM), our Core Facility combines state-of-the-art iPSC technologies with direct access to expertise in regenerative medicine, enabling comprehensive scientific support for both basic and translational research
The iPSC Core Facility has been honored with the 3R Award and the Team Effort Award, recognizing our expertise in delivering reliable, state-of-the-art iPSC services.
Our collaboration with CiRA, initiated in 2017, has developed into a strong scientific partnership supported by continuous exchange of expertise and scientific interactions between both institutions. This collaboration contributes to the ongoing development of our Core Facility and iPSC expertise.
