ISACB+ISVTE conference abstracts published

The International Symposium for Applied Cardiovascular Biology and Vascular Tissue Engineering (ISACB+ISVTE) has successfully come to an end.

Participants

This year’s meeting hosted by the Institute for Regenerative Medicine (IREM) combined for the first time the International Society for Applied Cardiovascular Biology (ISACB) and the International Symposium on Vascular Tissue Engineering (ISVTE) with the aim to build new relationships with one-another and to enable successful collaborations in the future. This combined meeting provided a forum for academic scientist and engineers, clinicians and industry representatives within the area of cardiovascular biology, enhancing development and clinical translation of basic research into cardiovascular therapies and diagnostic modalities.

We would like to thank all the invited speakers and participants for this truly memorable event! All accepted abstracts have been published in the current issue of The International Journal of Artificial Organs.

Special thanks to all our sponsors for their financial support: Wyss Zurich, Biotechnet Switzerland, Sprüngli, GUNZE, PEPROTECH, MCM MEDSYS, LLS ROWIAK, Secant Group and the City of Zurich.
